The tropics aren't always about beach scenes. If you travel around the islands, you'll encounter some very interesting landscapes. Kauai is a really neat island because it is very old and thus filled with valleys because the island is literally breaking down into soil in it's interior. This scene is from a road not far out of Kaapa and it takes you to some very nice ranches.
